Description
The Project Coordinator is part of the Operations Team and is responsible for planning and executing a range of aerospace/defense projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and manage manufacturing build plans, supplier selection, and material procurement
- Draft purchase orders in accordance with the procurement plan
- Maintain and update job schedules and status
- Communicate with key customers, suppliers, and service providers to ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Engineering, Production and Quality
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with an aptitude and intertest to learn new software and systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented; Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Positive, professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change, creative problem solver
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role (we will accept entry-level applicants with strong qualifications)
- Engineering, Operations Management, and/or other technical background
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel; knowledge of Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet or comparable software preferred
Work Experience / Education
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in Engineering discipline
- Experience in position accountable for project coordination & success preferred
Salary Description
$55,000+
