Springbuk is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. This person will be leading the pursuit and execution of strategic partnerships with external organizations to enable and accelerate implementation of Springbuk’s strategic growth priorities. This position will report to the CEO and be an integral member of the Springbuk Executive Team. Acting as a consultative partner, the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will identify potential partnering companies and evaluate opportunities that complement our Health Intelligence Platform. Collaboration with leaders across the organization is a key component to identify capabilities that are required to drive our partnership growth strategies, develop ongoing partnership relationships, establish goals and performance metrics for strategic partnerships, and ensure the success of the Springbuk Marketplace.


The ideal candidate will have significant experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships within a healthcare technology products, solutions or services company and also have operational experience.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ongoing development of the Springbuk Marketplace Partnership strategy as a member of the Springbuk Executive Team
  • Develop strong, strategic and sustainable partnerships 
  • Understand the national partners’ strategy, go to market, and future direction while being an advocate for partner’s program success
  • Develop and manage strategic growth initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities to achieve retention and growth initiatives 
  • Execute long term value and sustainable success for both Springbuk and our partners
  • Build relationships with potential strategic partners, develop and communicate plans for mutually beneficial business opportunities, and motivate potential partners to engage in strategic partnerships
  • Drive partner strategy and business plans coordinating cross functional teams across the business
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology team to identify and prioritize capabilities and technologies that will be required to continue enabling and supporting the Marketplace strategy and drive growth
  • Engage with Sales and Customer Support to understand customer needs and concerns around identified strategic partnership opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing and Enablement to develop structured enablement plans focused on partner-originated resources to create presentations, training and proposal generation
  • Assist Marketing with press releases, marketing materials and content surrounding the Springbuk Marketplace
  • Engage and inform leadership at Springbuk to build cohesion between our respective teams
  • Implement goals, key performance metrics and requirements for execution of strategic partnerships
  • Assist Finance and Legal teams with contract negotiating and executing partnership agreements
  • Collaborate with executive team to ensure the success of each of our strategic partnerships on a weekly basis
  • Assist Finance team to measure progress against strategic partnership goals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling communications to manage and advance partnerships
  • Represent Springbuk Marketplace in industry events and participate in activities to build brand awareness 
Requirements

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10-15 years of experience in strategic partnership, business development, strategy development, or strategic sales and operational roles
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing national partner relationships ideally within SaaS, employee benefits, data analytics, digital wellness, or other healthcare companies
  • Ability to articulate a vision and build consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Proven history of being able to work independently and with cross-functional product, sales, client support, marketing and technology teams to achieve company and partner objectives
  • Strong business acumen and capable of developing and managing strategic plans with partner and company executives and challenging the status quo
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) including to CEO and Board level audiences
