Job Title: Bartender

Location: La Posada Hotel, Laredo Texas

La Posada Hotel is seeking a skilled bartender to join our team. As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and friendly service, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure that we always have the necessary supplies on hand.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area

- Ensure that all guests receive prompt and friendly service

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol

- Upsell drinks and promote specials to guests

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a bartender

- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
