Description

SHINE Technologies is immediately seeking a Sourcing Coordinator to provide support to the Supply Chain team with complex procurement related transaction activities, expediting and driving procurement administration, vendor relationships and communication, proposal development, and NDA/contract submission. This position ensures timely acquisitions of products or services from known vendors. The Sourcing Coordinator will support the varied daily activities to allow for more efficiency and better output at the direction of the Supply Chain Manager. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Purchases material, products, and equipment by submitting purchase orders with approved vendors, including foreign companies
  • Issue purchase orders and agreements that accurately reflect price, scheduler, terms and conditions as negotiated
  • Facilitates resolution of issues by arranging and participating in conferences between vendors and company personnel
  • Assists in the evaluation process through the distribution of quotations, preparation of the commercial portion of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with engineering and construction regarding the technical and constructability evaluations.
  • Participates in the master data management processes; creating/maintaining part numbers, primary supplier designation records, and updating contract prices where necessary.
  • Able to resolve simple claim or dispute events with vendors. May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for equipment, material, or labor to support estimating/proposal efforts for a non-major project or projects. 
  • Establish effective communications, good relations, and positive images with vendors, promoting courtesy, objectivity, and fairness.
  • Proficient in the basic functions of the vendor database.
  • Files appropriate record documents and follows Corporate and project filing rules.
  • May provide input to portions of new and/or revised procedures or documents. 
  • Able to perform the above duties and tasks in relation to project timelines with crucial delivery dates 



Requirements
  • Associate degree in engineering, supply chain or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or years of experience preferred 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to take directions as well as think independently
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • The right candidate will be comfortable with accountability and deadlines as they support/own the project timeline

 Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant’s ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls.
