The South College Orlando Campus invites applications for the position of Director of Financial Aid. The successful candidate will oversee the financial aid processes and services for the campus while working closely with the Campus President and the Vice President of Financial Aid. We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills.


  

General Responsibilities

· Meet and counsel with students and parents regarding the process of applying for and receiving financial aid.

· Assist students and parents with the completion of forms and documents required to secure financial aid.

· Collect all documentation required from students and/or parents.

· Provide notification of any missing documentation to appropriate students and/or parents.

· Prepare and maintain financial aid files for each student receiving financial assistance.

· Reconciliation of Title IV funds.

· Direct the daily activities of the Financial Aid staff.

· Perform other duties as needed by the Campus President and Vice President of Financial Aid

Requirements

  

• Earned Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred

• Three to Four years of professional and related experience in higher education.

• Knowledge of federal financial aid programs and recordkeeping requirements.

• Knowledge of higher education processes, supervisory and personnel practices.

• Experience in management and leadership positions.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

• Able to work independently to meet deadlines.

• Experience with financial aid software and systems preferred.
