The Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Battle Motors plays a pivotal role in sourcing new products and programs, requiring expertise in global supply chain management, negotiation, and problem-solving. This position demands effective leadership to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive positive change, and ensure the successful launch of new products. 

Key Responsibilities:

· Track global trends to anticipate supply chain impacts and facilitate continuous improvements.

· Lead sourcing efforts aligned with program objectives, identifying new suppliers and technologies.

· Cultivate strategic relationships with suppliers, optimizing contracts for Battle Motors' benefit.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing clear communication on sourcing decisions.

· Deliver comprehensive reports to executive leadership on costs, budgets, and sourcing activities.

· Partner with the finance team on cost reduction initiatives, ensuring targets are met.

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

· 5+ years of experience in commodity management or strategic sourcing.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

· Strong decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to drive improvement collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
