Requirements
This position requires:
- Prior experience in a high-volume, fast paced kitchen
- Experience with Latino American products and cooking methods a plus
- Set up workstations with all necessary supplies
- Check mise en place for quality and par levels
- Prepare food for service as required for the station, following recipes & methods
- Answer, report to, and follow chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and properly store remaining mise en place
- Ensure that dishes come out in a quality and timely fashion
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards, which include properly cooling and heating procedures, as well as identifying safe holding temperatures
- Since this is an open kitchen, maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Other duties as assigned by management team
