Description: Charter school for children with Dyslexia seeks highly motivated Administrative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Chiefly responsible for clerical duties related to Louisiana Key Academy's Special Education
department. Our department is responsible for admissions, enrollment, IEPs, 504 plans, andFamily Engagement for the school site.
The Administrative Assistant would be responsible for:
- Reporting on metrics to the SPED Coordinator
- Scheduling and coordinating IEP meetings
- Managing and maintaining the filing system for student’s records
- Uploading records to various platforms
- Fulfilling records requests
- Conducting an audit of student files on a regular cycle
- Maintaining a record of all parent contact
Other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Three or more years of experience in an administrative or office role.
Some college preferred.
Prior experience working in educational organizations.
Has the ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments.
Is extremely organized, process driven, and detail oriented.
Strong skills in the areas of communication and customer service.
Proficient in operating basic software programs such as the Microsoft Office Suite and
Google Workspace.
Physical Demands:
Sitting for long periods of time.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving
up to 20 pounds.
Occasional standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, pushing and pulling and
reaching, climbing stairs.
