Summary

This role will manage the data development team as a player/coach and participate in process improvement, data architecture, data management, and analytics tasks. Augeo Data Developers are responsible for utilizing Augeo's data assets to provide analysis and reporting to end users and internal customers as well as manage the flow of data within the environment. You will be leading the development and operational cadence related to these activities, working with a cross-functional team to define and implement Augeo’s strategic data objectives and day-to-day tasks. You will be required to work on complex assignments and collaborate with Augeo's IT and SaaS applications teams. The ideal candidate understands business needs and translates them into technical solutions, as well as manages internal and external client relationships as needed.

High-level Job Requirements

  • Manage the development lifecycle of data management and modification projects
  • Maintain consistent flow and quality of data operations tasks
  • Document data processing and data validation procedures for all assigned programs
  • Trouble-shoot and correct data load exceptions or inaccuracies
  • Develop automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information
  • Assist account team with data queries and support Program Success Metrics process and account reviews on assigned programs
  • Research new technologies and processes to continuously improve the organization
  • Analyze performance of database queries and take action to correct deficiencies
  • Monitor scheduled tasks and queries post-implementation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills

Desired Technical Skills

  • Understanding of process controls and security standards such as SOC2
  • Strong familiarity with T-SQL and SQL:2023
  • Familiarity with Amazon RDS (SQL Server) and Amazon Aurora (Postgres)
  • Familiarity with C# for scripting tasks
  • Experience with code repositories including Azure Dev Ops / Git
  • Familiarity with Mongo and the ability to write queries against data stored in Mongo
  • Exposure to Tableau BI or Power BI reporting tools
  • Knowledge of data warehousing practices, data marts, and operational data stores

Education and Experience

  • Two-year or four-year college degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred
  • Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SQL Server proficiency required
  • Experience with complex Stored Procedures required
  • Proficient with relational database technologies and theories
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar technologies
  • Understanding of and discipline to follow rigorous IT data and systems policies
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and achieve objectives and deadlines
