Description

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Your role will involve greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival 
  • Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart 
  • Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations 
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service 
  • Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up 
  • Provide accurate wait times and communicate any delays to guests 
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner 
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized lobby area 

Skills: 

  • Previous experience using Revel POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems is preferred 
  • Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus 
  • Strong guest service skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
