Responsibilities

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our growing team. Below is a listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with all employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ability to read and understand project drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Ability to use construction software to keep drawings updated with current ASI’s.
  • Ability to use construction software to write, distribute, and manage RFI’s.
  • Ability to use construction software to manage submittals process.
  • Ability to use construction software to manage project cost including creating subcontractor change orders.
  • Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain backup for change orders.
  • Work with the Project Manager to prepare bid packages for subcontractor and vendor bidding.
  • Support office and onsite field team as required.
  • Attend weekly subcontractor and owner meetings, take minutes, and distribute to team.
  • Maintain project files and save documents per company policy.
  • Assist Project Manager to complete project closeout documents.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Products, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with PlanGrid, SAGE/Timberline, and FinishLine.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

  • Ability to work inside or outside and in varying weather conditions.
  • Work activities completed in the office and the construction site trailer.
  • Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
