Production Team Member- MIRUM

Join our growing team! The MIRUM Production Team Member is a key role in defining and discovering the best way to produce NFW products on both pilot scale and full-scale production cells. We currently have great opportunities for First shift, Monday- Friday.  

  • Sandwich Team Member
  • Weigh Up Team Member 
  • Narrow Coating Line Team Member
  • Press Cutter Team Member 


Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, with at least two years’ working experience preferred. 
  • Basic use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and email skills required. Basic math skills are required. 
  • Skill to read and understand job specifications and knowledge to determine settings and materials needed to run the job successfully.
  • Skill to make a variety of difficult precise settings of controls, settings, and adjustments, and to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment. 
  • Ability to do measurements and weigh 
  • Basic skills in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment - mechanically inclined a plus. 
  • Team player experience and good communication skills in manufacturing and production environments
  • Experience in a textile or rubber manufacturing industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, depending on the position.

  • Frequent talking, hearing, and seeing.
  • Frequent use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel. 
  • Pushing and pulling on work objects with hands. 
  • Possibly working with hot and cold surfaces
  • Possibly working with job related sharp objects like scissors. 
  • Safely working with tape, Thickness Gauge, strainer, paint rollers/paint tray, and push carts. 
  • Regular standing, walking, sitting, and reaching; must be able to stand up to 10 hours a day. 
  • Regular stooping, kneeling, crouching, occasional climbing, typically on a stepladder or stairs 
  • Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds; and occasional team lifting up to 75lbs
  • Basic computer skills- typing, looking at screen.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch if needed.


Work Environment

  • Well-lighted, production setting with adequate ventilation
  • The majority of the work is performed in a shop environment with moderate noise level.
  • Depending on the position, the individual will l have to wear personal protective equipment: protective shoes, safety glasses, cutting glove and/or more.

Salary Description
starting at 18.50
