Description
  •  Independently perform layout, assembly and installation of most solar array and mounting hardware
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
  • Preparation and clean up of job site
  • Provide technical direction to Solar Installer I’s
  • Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate manner
  • Additional duties as required
Requirements
  •  Construction experience and comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope
  • 1-3 years’ experience
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
  • 1 year experience with semi-technical roofing materials, such as: tile, asphalt, standing metal seam and various roof penetrations.
  • Must have a clean driving record in accordance with PB insurance parameters
  • Must be motivated and a team player.
  • Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and evolve
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of installers
  • Must be able to lift panels (up to 50 pounds), climb ladders up to 30 times per day, and work in various weather conditions

Experience Installing Solar PV a plus. Preference to those with licensing, Electrical Apprentice and NABCEP certified professionals.


Compensation for this position is $24-$35 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and location. Overtime opportunities are available.
