The Senior FOIA Analyst will provide analytical services to the Peace Corps. They will review, analyze, and respond to Peace Corps Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) cases and Privacy Act (PA) requests. They will review the responsive records for each case worked, and conduct a detailed disclosure analysis, resulting in the application of statutory exemptions to protect personal privacy, confidential business, pre-decisional and deliberative information from disclosure. They will provide disclosure recommendations to Peace Corps staff after review of the responsive records with rationale for those disclosure recommendations. They must process simple and complex backlog FOIA requests that are in a paper or electronic medium. In addition to processing backlog FOIA requests, they will process new incoming FOIA requests or open FOIA requests, including time sensitive requests. The FOIA Analyst will process cases and provide recommendations to leadership.
· Bachelor's degree or higher.
· Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
· At least seven (7) years of work experience with demonstrated skills, reputation, and experience providing program support required under the functional description for the position.
· Professional experience with demonstrated expertise in the review and handling of FOIA cases.
· Professional experience with ensuring organization practices follow policies, procedures, and regulations concerning Privacy Act programs.
· Knowledge of FOIA exemptions 1-9 and exclusions 1-3.
· Knowledge of the United States Federal Law- Privacy Act of 1974.
· Demonstrated professional experience producing timely results.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power-Point.
· Effective at working independently and collaboratively.
· Ability to complete tasks fast and accurately with minimal supervision.
· Ability to track and follow through on projects to completion.
· Superior organization and interpersonal skills.
· Professional experience managing small teams.

Work hours shall consist of an 8-hour day between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
