Bakery Assistant

Linvilla Orchards is a prominent agritourism farm in Delaware County, and we are currently seeking passionate candidates to join our team! The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and enjoys working with people.

Linvilla Orchards' high volume bakery is seeking a highly motivated assistant with a positive attitude. Bakery experience preferred but not necessary. A candidate with some experience handling, preparing and serving food is ideal. We are looking for someone to work at the bakery counter and assist customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist customers, providing detailed information about our products and answering any questions.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the bakery counter and display areas. 
• Assist with stocking and arranging bakery products in display cases. 
• Follow instructions and complete tasks.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and handling.
• Communicate with fellow workers and management
• Inventory management and organization
• Assist with baking when needed.
• Prompt and punctual

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk 
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

 Qualifications:

• Able to work early morning or afternoon shifts; (some weekends & holidays required)
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable with high personal integrity, and people focused values
• Bakery experience preferred
• Food handling experience preferred.
• Work both independently and within a team environment
• Remain organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a bakery environment preferred
