Under the direction of the Director of Provider Network Management. The Provider Network Coordinator will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all who access EK Health’s Provider Network. This will include injured workers, adjusters, clients, attorneys, and providers.

Position Specifics: Temporary (3 months) Non-Exempt position; Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm PST. 

Pay Rate: $17-19/hr based on experience, education, certifications and location.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Communicate with providers on a regular basis to answer any questions or concerns as well as to provide strong provider relations 
• Prepare and send provider directories, as needed
• Manage the provider database (additions, updates, removals, etc.) to ensure that database is accurate and current
• Make/oversee targeted calls to medical providers and ancillary providers to establish and maintain relationships with entities that join EK Health’s Provider Network
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required, AA in related field preferred
• Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Workers’ compensation experience is strongly recommended
• Provider relations experience a plus
• Knowledge of general credentialing procedures
• Strong organization skills
• Ten key proficient
• Must be computer literate with a high comfort level with computers and computer  programs (MS Word, MS Excel, Email, and Internet)
• Able to develop and prepare provider network reports for internal and external customers
• Basic medical terminology

Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to sit the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must be able to keyboard the majority of an 8-hour day except for lunch and break times. Candidate must have manual dexterity. Candidate must be able to speak on the telephone intermittently throughout the day. Candidate must be able to read and write English fluently. Candidate must be able to provide and confirm safe home office environment. Home office must be HIPAA compliant.
