Description
Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Compliance, the Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist serves as a cardiovascular Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Clinical Services/ Affairs Department. The successful candidate is a highly experienced, hands-on self-starter, with excellent clinical, research and customer-facing skills and experience.
- Performs vascular ultrasound examinations of the carotid and peripheral arteries, including the aorta
- Conducts tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.
- Reviews test QuantaFlo PAD & HD / Ultrasound tests with Medical Directors or Clinical Research PI’s, and preliminary interpretations of test results.
- Performs research cardiovascular sonographic examinations utilizing 3D ultrasonic equipment With GLS and EF to locate, evaluate and record cardiac function.
- Collaborates with Sr Director Clinical Compliance & VP Clinical Services on research protocols.
- Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed.
- Analyzes and benchmarks Semler Product performance.
- Performs clinical validation testing for Engineering and Product Development
- Evaluates and ensures Semler Product feasibility and design optimization.
- Works with internal and external CRO’s to ensure effective product testing and optimal clinical data collection.
- Interfaces with KOL’s, Product stakeholders and Customers to determine future Product line direction and developments
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years Clinical and 5 years Commercial or Research in Cardiovascular Ultrasound Experience
- Requires Active Certification as a Vascular Sonographer (RVT) and Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Domestic travel required – May require up to 80% travel: local, out-of-town, overnight – weekly travel within the domestic US to complete research studies
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish – moderate to fluent preferred
Education
- Requires Certification as a Registered Vascular and Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RVT; RDCS) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Salary Description
$110,000-$140,000
