 Responsibilities: 

  • Comply with all the Anchor Principles and Guidelines, as well as Anchor policies and procedures
  • Capable of taking on multiple jobs at once
  • Operated Bridgeports, machining centers, and all TR equipment safely and efficiently
  • Eliminate all problems or re-occurring problems
  • Be capable of trouble shooting in press repairs
  • Work with Engineering to develop concepts for improvements to tooling
  • Training of apprentices
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes
  • Document all work done to dies
  • Develop a history of dies
  • Perform PMs according to the schedule
  • Perform their daily clean up in their designated areas.
Requirements
  • Completed 4 year Apprenticeship Training or previous experience building/repairing metal stamping dies for 8 years
  • Owns own tools
  • Knowledge of basic TR equipment and machinery
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
