Associate Accountant
Fully Remote TX

SUMMARY

The Associate Accountant will be responsible for compiling and reviewing financial information, preparing financial paperwork, assisting with payroll processing, maintaining records, and general administrative tasks.


Location: Remote ( Based in TX, FL, VA, MN only at this time) 


PRIMIARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· Carrying out daily bookkeeping and record-keeping duties.

· Assist with the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.

· Aiding in tax and compliance matters, including preparing and submitting necessary documents. Including at the local, state, and federal level.

· Supporting accounts payable and receivable tasks.

· Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data.

· Supporting internal audits and assisting with external audit processes.

· Assisting in the formation of the company's budgeting and forecasting activities.

· Collaborating with various departments and teams to understand financial operations matters.

· Staying current with industry trends and issues that could impact company strategy and performance.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILIITES:

· Participate in all training as required by Recuro Health

· Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

· Public Accounting experience a strong plus.

· Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

· Experience in Quickbooks Online strongly preferred.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

· Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
