Plumbing Installation Technician
Description
  • Execute plumbing installations for both residential and commercial projects, ensuring completion within budget and adherence to our high standards.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, establishing rapport before commencing and during every project.
  • Keep your assigned truck, tools, and equipment in excellent condition, ensuring everything is clean, organized, maintained and functional.
  • Maintain constant communication with the installation coordinator, your manager, and your team members to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with the estimator who sold the job, relaying any changes, issues, concerns, or necessary change orders that may arise before or during the project. This collaboration is crucial to adapting project plans effectively and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and document inventory usage on projects, and maintain accurate records of all work performed, including photographic and video documentation.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, furthering the company's reputation for respectfulness and attention to detail in every interaction with clients' property.
  • Oversee all work of apprentices and any other team members assigned to the project, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements, participating actively in both technical and soft skills development sessions.
Requirements
  • Experience in plumbing installations, with a strong understanding of both residential and commercial systems.
  • Must possess all necessary hand tools required to complete plumbing projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
  • Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
