Description

JOB SUMMARY

 The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for various duties associated with supporting the business development team at Clinilabs Drug Development Corporation, and its affiliates.     


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • The activities of the Business Development Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist the business development team in prospecting into new accounts by ensuring accurate and current contact information, following industry publications to search for new business opportunities, ensuring accurate record keeping in the CRM platform, and designing prospecting lists.
  • Initiation of outreach to customer prospects (mail, email, telephone, LinkedIn) to make them aware of our service offering and new company developments.
  • Support the Business Development team in setting up introductory meetings, establishing new relationships, and reigniting old contacts.
  • Maintain accurate client records for ongoing marketing efforts.
  • Production of activity reports, dormant account reports, etc. as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

Salary will depend on the candidate’s geographical location and experience. For NYC, the salary range is up to $70K.
 

TRAVELING

Travel for industry conferences/trade shows and between NY and NJ offices for client/staff meetings is required.


Requirements

 REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

 

  • This position of Business Development Coordinator requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication and follow-up skills, ability to multitask, and professionalism are required. Ability to interface with management, sales team members, as well as clients is required. Experience working in a biotech or CRO is strongly preferred.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet search, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management such as Salesforce.com) are preferred.
