Mobis North America, a world leader in automotive innovations is looking for a Quality Engineer to join its growing team at its warehouse in Novi, MI.    The Quality Engineer is responsible for interfacing with the Customer and performing initial root cause analysis of issues within the warehouse.

  Responsibilities:

1. Identify root cause and investigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues

2. Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products

3. Update Mobis Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes, and improvements

4. Prepare reports on malfunctions and corrective actions 

5. Set and track quality assurance goals

6. Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specified goals

7. Contributes to continuous improvement to help drive costs down and improve the overall plant quality performance metrics

8. Monitors and tracks customer quality ratings/scores

9. Other duties as assigned 

Required Skills:

1. Ability to respond to Customer questions, concerns in a timely manner

2. Maintain the Quality Index scorecard and improve performance

3. At least 1 year Automotive Quality Experience

Education/Experience Level:

1 Year quality experience in automotive industry

Bachelor's degree in relevant concentration or equivalent experience

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Travel:

Ability to travel occasionally within USA, to Mexico and Asia as necessary

Language:

Proficiency in English required

Bi-lingual English - Korean preferred (many meetings between Mobis HQ and Korean suppliers)
