Overview

As the leader of Training and Enablement you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs and resources for our sales, marketing, and customer success teams. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives, product features, and customer needs. Given this, we are prioritizing candidates in the Indianapolis area. Translating the associated value of Zylo’s products and services into effective enablement materials and initiatives. By empowering our teams with the necessary knowledge, tools, and support, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. 


Zylo is growing and scaling to new heights, and this leader will, over time, create, and build the enablement department to be the foundation of accelerated growth.  Current ‘Heads of training and enablement’ are free to apply, but will be expected to learn fast, roll up their sleeves, create and deliver content & curriculum -  and initially, be the solo force that expands a culture of learning! 


What you will do

  • Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement training programs, workshops, and materials tailored to the specific needs of each go-to-market team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product roadmap.
  • Product Knowledge Enablement: Deepen understanding of our products, features, and solutions among sales, marketing, and customer success teams, enabling them to effectively articulate value propositions and address customer needs.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the skills and resources needed to drive successful customer engagements, including sales pitch decks, objection handling guides, competitive intelligence, and sales playbooks.
  • Onboarding and Ramp-up: Facilitate new hire onboarding programs and ongoing training initiatives to accelerate time-to-productivity and ensure consistent performance across the organization.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Develop engaging and informative training content, including e-learning modules, videos, documentation, and knowledge base articles, leveraging a variety of formats and delivery methods.
  • Performance Evaluation and Optimization: Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives through metrics such as sales performance, customer satisfaction scores, and feedback from internal stakeholders, continuously refining programs to drive greater impact and ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to stay informed about product updates, enhancements, and customer feedback, integrating this knowledge into training materials and initiatives.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and peer-to-peer learning opportunities to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements

What you need

  • Proven experience in training and enablement roles within the software industry, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, customer engagement strategies, and go-to-market best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design, content development, and delivery of training programs using various platforms and tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance metrics, identify trends, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize training initiatives.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and shifting deadlines.
