Description

 

Be a Site Administrator at a very unique small school. Must have an Administrative Credential ,Masters Degree with PPS Credential with Administrative Experience and at least 5 years administrative experience in a public-school setting.

We are located on a beautiful, secure campus in Lancaster CA. This is a chance to use your education and experience to truly lead a teaching staff and collaborate with clinicians to design and implement programs that work.
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus (5k upon start with the other half after six months)

Basic Job Overview: 

  • Interview, select, direct, evaluate and supervise certificated and classified personnel; assign Vice Principal, faculty, Counselors and other staff as appropriate to meet school objectives. 
  • Direct and participate in a planned program of formal and informal classroom visitations and observations; recommend discipline, reassignment or termination action as appropriate; document evidence of excellent and/or substandard performance. 
  • Enforce applicable State and Federal Education codes, policies and laws; administer school site discipline and intervention policies and safety programs. 
  • Plan and help direct the business operations of school; develop and administer site budgets; assure proper allocation of funds for instructional and non-instructional equipment and materials. 
  • Direct the evaluation and revision of curricular and instructional programs. Communicate with teachers to assure instructional programs meet student needs and IEP requirements. 
  • Analyze data and develop and implement plans for instructional improvement growing out of program assessment. 
  • Establish, coordinate and maintain communication with community and parent groups, law enforcement and other officials as needed. 
  • Prepare and write correspondence, bulletins and other communications on behalf of the school; arrange for school-level public relations and publicity for special events and achievements as appropriate.
Requirements

-Valid Administrative Credential in combination with either a valid Education Specialist Credential, OR PPS Credential

-3 Letters of Reference MINIMUM

  

-Must be able to pass a DOJ/FBI Clearance

-Must have a negative TB test within 60 days of hire able to pass a DOJ/FBI Clearance

Salary Description
$120,000-$165,000
