Outpatient Therapist / Counselor (Evening)
Description

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Performs biopsychosocial assessments 

· Performs assessments for safety risk to self or others 

· Develops safety contracts in high-risk situations 

· Facilitates individual, group, family and couples therapy utilizing empirically supported modalities

· Develop outpatient treatment plans

· Collaborates with family and community support 

· Provides support and crisis communication 

· Perform group and individual counseling sessions

· Oversee weekly group schedule 

· Supports admission and discharges of clients 

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirement: 

· Minimum of a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field, or completion of required education and 

  licensing requirements

· Active or registered intern status with State Licensing agency. 

· Meet all necessary state licensure requirements (LCSW, LCP, LMFT), or state licensed LDAC

· 2+ years of clinical experience, ideally working directly with clients 

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen 

· Solid relationship-building capabilities 

· A positive and compassionate attitude 

· Keen attention to detail 

· Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs 

· Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field 

· Passion for advancing the therapy field 

Ability to work independently or as part of a team
