This position is responsible for a variety of tasks associated with the blending of plastic materials and ensuring that all inbound/outbound loads are blended properly based on lab/supervisor work orders. This includes using company provided equipment, such as forklifts and blenders, to efficiently blend raw materials prior to being approved for extrusion.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Ability to read and follow work orders for each assigned blend.
• Understanding the raw material that is being blended as well as the product that it will be going into.
• Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. 
• Ensuring that the job is performed in the safest and most efficient way possible to meet daily production goals and provide materials for extrusion.
• Performing “Class A” cleanups on blending equipment.
• Must be willing to work 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM shift Monday through Friday.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Ability to operate a forklift.

· Ability to physically lift up to 50lbs repeatedly, when required.

· Ability to follow all safety and performance guidelines as stated in the company handbook and required within the Warehouse department and the entire facility.

· Willingness to continue learning raw materials, as well as finished products.

EDUCATION: 

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

• Attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience.
• Legible handwriting.
