Position Description

The Sales Development Representative plays a vital role in the company by prospecting, nurturing, and identifying qualified opportunities to expand eHealth Technologies’ Sales Pipeline. This role is responsible for managing outbound campaigns, identifying critical decision-makers, and delivering initial sales presentations to generate interest in eHealth Technologies’ services. The Sales Development Representative team works closely with the marketing and sales teams to maximize new and strategic expansion opportunities. Success in this role is determined by moving opportunities from identified opportunities that are “above the funnel” and into the “qualified sales pipeline.”

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for lead management to opportunity creation and introduction to Region Vice President.
  • Maintain active engagement with all Leads until they are ready.
  • Perform relevant research to confirm the ideal customer profile and valid business reasons for pursuit.
    • Confirm key buyer(s) 
    • Determine the prospect's challenges (burning platform)
    • Mutual commitment on the next step
  • Perform an initial presentation that demonstrates our capabilities that align with solving prospects' challenges (burning platform).
  • Partner with Region Vice Presidents (RVP)
    • Fill sales pipelines.
    • Review call plans and next-step strategies on new and strategic expansion opportunities.
    • Coordinate opportunity hand off calls and meetings with RVP’s.
  • Follow internal procedures and processes (that align with eHealth Technologies Sales Process) that include tracking of all communications, contacts, and opportunities.
    • Document all activities in Salesforce.
    • Prepare and document call plans.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of eHealth Technologies’ products and services to understand business challenges faced by customers and address their needs.
  • Manage activity to objectives and key results, including calls, emails, and meeting targets. Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources inv, estimate potential accounts, and identify key players based on active marketing and sales campaign requirements.
  • Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.



Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· 5 years of successful experience is required for this position.

· Prior experience in business development, particularly in the healthcare technology industry, is required.

· The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance quotas.

· Candidates should have a strong professional phone/email/LinkedIn presence 

· An energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor is a must.

· Proficiency with corporate productivity and web presentation tools is expected.

· The ability to communicate professionally through written and verbal communications within the company and with prospects is essential.

· Excellent listening and presentation skills are required.

· Candidates should be proficient with or able to learn various computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce,, Zoom Info, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools that may be identified.

· Working independently and partnering effectively with internal and external teams to achieve desired business results is necessary.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.

· The ideal candidate should have good judgment and creative problem-solving skills.

· Completing tasks accurately and within strict time constraints is crucial.

· Candidates should have experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and be comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity.
