SHIFT AVAILABILITY
- Days or Afternoons/Evenings, Monday - Sunday openings, full-time, part-time, PRN shifts available.
- Shift differential after four (4) pm.
- PDI is looking for hardworking & enthusiastic employees to work in small teams at Gyms on Fort Carson.
- Opening shifts and closing shifts are available.
- Hiring bonus of $1000.00; paid out over 90, 180, & 360 days ($250.00, $250.00, $500.00).

- The Fort Carson Custodian (“Custodian”) performs work under the authority of the Fort Carson custodial contract (“contract”) and follows all supervision, direction, and oversight to meet contract-related guidelines, provisions, and goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
- Follow procedures for the safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Follow safety procedures to check electrical appliances and equipment before use
- Notify the supervisor with recommendations about equipment repair and replacement
- Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures
Custodial
- Mixes and prepares cleaning solutions according to manufacturer specifications and PDI safety guidelines
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floor
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polishes metalwork
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills
- Empties wastebaskets
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area
- Replenishes bathroom supplies
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways and office space
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments
- Sets up tables and chairs in the lunchroom, work centers, and other areas as required
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A high school degree or its equivalent is required. Prior custodial experience is required.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Age 18. Pre-employment background screen, pre-employment drug screen, and successful completion of First Aid and other required certifications required. All applicants need to have clearance to get on to the Army Post
Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and work effectively with individuals served staff, and support agencies. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the PDI environment. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
MATHEMATICS ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as circumference and volume.

Pay Rate: $17.20 per hour, plus additional Company Health & Welfare compensation applied toward full-time benefits. Various shifts are available. Days, Evenings, Nights, and/or Weekends. There is a shift differential of $1.00 per hour after four (4) pm.
