Urgent Care Marketing Specialist

Position Overview:
The Marketing Specialist for our Urgent Care service line will play a key role in developing and implementing strategic community relations and marketing initiatives to increase patient awareness, enhance our brand presence and drive patient and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in marketing roles, preferably within the healthcare industry, and a strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to promote our urgent care services and increase patient acquisition.
- Plan and coordinate all clinic community outreach events, health fairs, and partnerships to raise awareness of our urgent care services.
- Identify opportunities, secure sponsorships and manage events and engagement in each market.
- Plan and coordinate marketing plans for new urgent care clinic opening from grassroots outreach to business and community stakeholders, public relations activities, ribbon cutting events with key stakeholders, grand opening events and ongoing community engagement.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including providers, administrators, and operational staff, to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Business Development on grass roots outreach efforts, healthcare partnerships, and WOM strategies for new clinics and services.
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams in developing engaging content for marketing materials, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases.
- Coordinate internal resources and physician support for content.
- Coordinate all photo and video shoots and book resources; Manage and update photo resources and video content;
- Stay abreast of competitor performance and market changes.
- Conduct regular audits of IEP UC placement in all search engines, community social media platforms, and review sites for accurate links/info.
- Work as a team with internal and external resources.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Excel in producing content both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating creativity and a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms,including Google Workspace, MailChimp, Google My Business, Podium, and design software/platforms. Experience with Adobe In-Design and PhotoShop is a plus.
- Ability to use a PC with windows operating systems.
- Complies with company policies and standards.
- Abides by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI).
