JOB TITLE: Carpenter
DIVISION: Carpentry
REPORTS TO: Foreman
HOURLY RANGE: Competitive Market Range
SUMMARY:
The Carpenter will complete all field commercial carpentry assignments onsite. This shall include, but not
be limited to; complying with company policies and best practices, working with subcontractors, and
keeping the company within compliance as set forth by the contract for specific job scope and duties as
assigned and directed by ZSI Management team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Structural and non-structural metal stud framing knowledge
? Commercial drywall installation
? Familiar with blueprint reading and understanding for layout
? Installation of acoustical ceilings
? Installation of windows, doors, and hardware
? Measuring, cutting, shaping material on the jobsite as needed
? Comply with onsite safety protocol
? Willing to travel as required for the job
? Abide by jobsite OSHA compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and
recommended best practices when onsite and interacting with team members
? Keep up to date on overall activities of the company, identify problem areas to report back to
Foreman and Superintendent on the job where applicable and within job scope for project
delivery
EDUCATION AND EXPIERENCE:
? High School diploma or GED required
? Apprentice or tech school degree preferred
? 3+ years of Carpentry experience
? 10-hour OSHA preferred (willing to train/certify)
? Read and understand blueprints required
? Demonstrated team player
? CPR and First Aide certification preferred (willing to train/certify)
? Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
? Creative, flexible, excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work with all levels of staff towards team and project goals

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ? Prolonged periods of standing. ? Must be physically able to perform construction-based tasks onsite.
