The Senior Product Manager has a demonstrated successful track record for the commercial success of a product or group of products, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, and enhancement. The senior product manager will be responsible for the commercial success of their product portfolio in alignment with DDI’s strategy and the customer needs in the market. They will understand the leadership market and needs of customers in attracting, selecting, promoting, and developing world-class talent. The senior product manager is the expert for their portfolio and provides mentoring and guidance within the product team as well as cross-functionally, unifying and motivating peers from different teams to support all aspects of the assessment product(s) lifecycle.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Set and drive a multi-year strategy for assessment products and communicate this vision across the organization. 
  • Conduct first-rate market and customer research to continuously gather specific persona insight as well as anticipate broader talent trends. 
  • Owning and driving the product lifecycle for your portfolio from ideation through design, build, launch, enhancement and eventually sunset. 
  • Responsible for pipeline assessment products - from aspiring frontline leader to CEO. 
  • Write and present the business case for assessment products. 
  • Monitor and report on the performance of products in the market.  
  • Create, document and communicate about products and product roadmaps. 
  • Gather competitive intelligence and perform competitive analysis. 
  • Coordinate the creation of prototypes and testing of product concepts. 
  • Document product requirements and user stories to support the product development process. 
  • Create pricing models and facilitate pricing decisions. 
  • Collaborate with technical assessment experts on vision and roadmap and oversee product development. 
  • Provide coaching and expert guidance to Product Managers and associates. 
  • Coordinating with G2M partners (portfolio marketing, GRE) for relevant activities and deliverables (Provide support to the field (e.g. make prospect/customer calls, provide sales enablement content, contribute to internal and external social communities/blogs/portals). 
  • Prioritize and select product enhancements. 
  • Initiate or manage relevant strategic partnerships as needed. 
Requirements

 

Mandatory: 

  • 5+ years and a proven track record in product management. 
  • Experience in the HR market (talent acquisition, training, psychometric assessments, etc.). 
  • A demonstrated history of leading the delivery of digital products from concept to launch. 
  • Extensive agile development experience. 

Desirable: 

  • Master's degree in I/O Psychology or closely related discipline.  
  • People leadership experience. 
  • Technical expertise in assessment and/or development products. 
  • Experience in transforming complex information into compelling and consumable data visuals. 
  • Sales or consulting experience. 

 

Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below. 

Variable Pay: 10%
