Job Title: Videographer / Media Coordinator
Type of Position: Full Time, Hourly
Weekly Hours: 40+/week, Sunday - Thursday
Weekends Required: (excluding vacations)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION (PURPOSE):
This position creates inviting and compelling creative service elements and marketing content, to inspire people to engage with God and community.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION (SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & EDUCATION)
• 2+ years of photography, videography and marketing experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in film, art and/or marketing (or a related discipline) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability (minimum 2 years) creating clear, compelling content that inspires and motivates people to take a specific action.
• Highly relational – ability to work closely with people of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and hospitality.
• Innovative – ability to create systems that support growing congregational and creative service programming needs.
• Motivated – ability to be proactive, assertive and bring creative solutions to challenges.

• Demonstrated understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout and publishing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Docs and other shared applications.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, Premier Pro and other graphics, photo and video editing software.
• Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords.
• Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and social media marketing best practices.
• Working knowledge of creative service planning, with ability to work closely with Worship, Production and Communication departments.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with Worship Arts Director in all areas of ministry, to serve other departmental needs for service/events and marketing needs church-wide.
• A committed Christian living a life of obedience; beliefs consistent with NPHX Church’s statement of faith.
• Must become a member of NPHX Church.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Evaluation criteria based on these responsibilities listed on review forms)
Video Content Creation: ~70%
• Continually look for ways to communicate existing church-wide and ministry programs, in creative ways that will inspire spiritual engagement from the congregation and community.
• Collaborate with ministries on a regular basis, to capture and share ministry content with the church.
• Create compelling videos that inspire people to action.
• Capture important moments in the life of the church in order to celebrate key moments.
• Collaborate with other ministry teams to plan and execute filming sessions.
• Ensure captured and edited video footage meets set quality standards.
• Contribute to a curated and organized database of video content/clips/final products for future access.
Still Image Capture: ~20%
- Capture images for use on social media and ministry needs on a weekly basis.
- Capture important moments in the life of the church in still images in order to celebrate key moments.
- Ensure all edited still images from the department meets set quality standards.
- Contribute to a curated and organized database of still images content for future access.
Creative Service Planning: ~10%
- Under the direction of the Worship Arts Director, contribute creative ideas to service and event planning that helps create and drive a culture of worship engagement.
- At the direction of the Worship Arts Director, create creative service elements like sermon bumpers, worship elements, baptism videos, etc… that will be used to engage people in the worship of God.
- Ensure all assigned video content for weekend services are at the quality level required, on time and in its proper file location to ensure efficient teamwork workflow.
