SUMMARY: Electro-Mechanical Field Technician
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide customer technical service and support to include installation/start-up (mechanical and electrical)
- PLC software modification on system controls
- Use of RSLogix 5000 and 500 to troubleshoot systems.
- Installing, programming and commissioning of AC VFDs especially PowerFlex.
- Minimal Use of Factory Talk View to troubleshoot PanelViewPlus HMIs.
- Customer training and troubleshooting
- Up to 75% Travel “both” Domestic and Foreign
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Hydraulics systems and/or Industrial bakery equipment.

- Mechanical and electrical technical skills to troubleshoot, design and solve machine malfunctions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit,
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Occasionally required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job includes: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to travel on airplanes or in automobiles.
