The Copywriter should understand pharmaceutical marketing and effectively communicate brand objectives to connect with audiences. This role requires a detailed, creative thinker with excellent storytelling abilities and a passion for life sciences, research, and annotation. The Copywriter will craft bold marketing messages, promotional training materials, and digital content to engage and influence sales teams, healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Working in a fast-paced agency environment, this role demands creativity, adherence to brand guidelines, timely delivery, and compliance with regulatory processes. The Copywriter must translate complex therapeutic details and understand clients' industries, products/services, brand guidelines, and marketing goals.
Collaboration with client services, strategy teams, and designers is essential for project intake, idea generation, execution, and presentations. Strong interviewing skills and a versatile writing style are crucial for success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Write creative copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action, varying voice, style, and other characteristics as needed
- Stay informed on client-related industry trends and maintain consistency in messaging by following style guidelines and brand voice
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload and short turnaround times
- Adhere to regulatory standards and requirements for successful submissions, following best practices for annotations
- Identify and process permissions for copyrighted material reproduction
- Use company project management and communication software effectively
- Attend job-related meetings and incorporate client feedback to address it.
- Interpret creative briefs and produce creative content from concepts to execution, conducting research to understand clients' needs and target audiences
- Write and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials, collaborating with client service managers, strategists, and creative staff on timelines, resources, and execution
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to the internal team and clients, participating in client pitches as needed
- Revise copy based on internal and client feedback
- Participate in regulatory responsibilities to gain asset approvals

- Minimum of 4-5 years of professional copywriting experience with a solid portfolio of work; Healthcare/Pharma experience is a plus
