Description

American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Sales & Replenishment Manager residing in Mooresville, NC or surrounding area working remotely. This position will report to the VP- Sales Lowe’s.


A Replenishment Manager will be responsible for Lowe’s sales analyst, daily orders, replenishment adjustments, truck building, forecast projections, tracking promotional events, preparation for line review, comps shops, and sample requests.


Responsibilities


Inventory Management and Replenishment:


•  Own relationship with replenishment and transportation teams at assigned retailer

•  Build truckloads in coordination with multiple ship points, item, and DC combinations

•  Monitoring inventory levels to ensure products are stocked appropriately to meet 

demand.

•  Forecasting future inventory needs based on historical sales data, promotional activities, and 

seasonal trends.

•  Collaborating with operations teams to coordinate timely replenishment of stock.

•  Optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing out-of-stock situations.

•  Proactively work with both internal and external team to build inventory for key promotional 

time frames

•  Collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to forecast demand for various 

products.

•  Assist in adjusting forecasts based on market trends, promotions, and other factors influencing 

consumer

behavior.


Sales:


•  Networks and builds strong relationships with key customer decision makers

•  Analyze business trends and ideates on ways to drive the business

•  Comp shops to ensure we remain competitive in the market

•  Identifies appropriate sales activities and strategies for achieving long and short-term 

customer objectives. Promotes customer service while executing strategic objectives set by 

management.

•  Frequently interact with customer personnel to drive the execution of the customer category 

plan, building strong relationships at the Merchant & Inventory level

•  Continuously monitoring performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process 

improvements.

•  Ability to run, comprehend and communicate report findings

•  Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues 

raised


Requirements

•  Four-year undergraduate degree

•  2-3 years of direct and hands on experience in sales, preferably with Lowe’s

•  Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (Excel, Power BI, Lowe’s Gateway, 

Powerpoint)

•  Proven record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve 

results.

•  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of using 

data-driven insights to improve supply chain performance.

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively 

with internal teams

and external partners.

•  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with 

attention to detail.

•  Ability to analyze syndicated data

•  Ability to run, comprehend and communicate report findings

•  Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues 

raised

•  Ability to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions accordingly

•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
