This is a fast-paced, early career sales position focused on selling leadership solutions to organizations to build better leaders and drive business results. We offer onboarding in the form of a Sales Academy to dive into DDI solutions and selling approach that typically lasts 2 - 4 months. Upon successful graduation of the academy, Sales Representatives will be moved into an available market. 


Responsibilities 

  • Lead pursuit of new business, prospecting and securing meetings, by activating networks, maximizing leads, converting leads to opportunities, and driving opportunities to sales 
  • Secure and conduct meetings with senior HR and line executives 
  • Target and Win Cross Sell and Expansion Opportunities  
  • Create opportunities with urgency to surpass revenue goals 
  • Progress opportunities through the sales cycle to close within target cycle time 
  • Devise pricing and negotiation strategies to secure contracted work with prospects and clients 
  • Actively manage multiple opportunities simultaneously across the client buying cycle, balancing activity appropriately between prospects and clients 
  • Sell strategic product mix in a complex sales situation 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to secure new business and grow new and existing clients while ensuring long term client satisfaction 
  • Meet & exceed individual sales goals 

Sales Academy 

  • Three focus areas: Product and industry knowledge, sales skills, and cross-functional account team leadership 
  • Ultimately goal is to rapidly learn to create sales strategy for leadership development across the pipeline of leader levels and manage clients in a cross-functional team 
Requirements

 

(These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job) 

  • BA/BS degree combined with 3 - 5years of relevant experience 
  • Experience with sales CRM’s 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals, including peer coaching 
  • Willingness to travel (up to 40%) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Sales Technology such as 6Sense and Outreach 
  • Acquisition, consultative selling and/or sales of conceptual integrated solutions 
  • Proven track record in creating new opportunities and executing winning sales strategies 
  • Understanding the role of HR in contributing to business outcomes 
  • Success with social selling and digital prospecting tools 
  • Certification in one or more sales skills methodology 
  • Knowledge/application of DDI programs 

 

Salary: The anticipated hiring range for this position is listed below. 

Variable Pay: Yes, commission plan
