Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee a large team of digital designers and UX designers, based in the Philippines. This role will spearhead the UX and digital design of compelling consumer-facing digital content that drives business goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with eCommerce partners and leadership to identify business design needs, drive growth and innovation, and elevate the eCommerce experience for consumers across digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, UX and oversight of The Walking Company, Abeo, and Kelly Slater's innovative footwear brand KLLY.com, plus our other private label brands, across all digital platforms including site design, user experience, digital ads, direct mail, and emerging channels that support eCommerce revenue growth.
Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
Maintain a consistent user experience across all digital platforms, including our website and mobile applications.
Define and refine design systems and templates to evolve digital brand standards. Provide feedback to digital leadership on best practices in eCommerce to ensure each brand maintains its unique visual identity.
Present and collaborate on wireframes, concepts, and storyboards for execution across multiple teams. Determine project deadlines and hold self and others accountable to these deadlines.
Create digital content including web graphics, infographics, and social media ads.
Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and processes to keep the brand at the forefront of design.
Work with the performance marketing team to create digital content that increases ROAS and optimizes campaigns.
Partner with internal teams to ideate and execute test scenarios to enhance user experience and engagement across all digital channels.
Lead and mentor other designers, providing direction and oversight while coordinating priorities.
Maintain an excellent portfolio, best in class UX templates, ability to build presentations, decks, and logos with a keen eye for typography and fashion trends.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
5+ years of UX and digital design experience (UX, digital marketing, email, direct mail, eCommerce) required, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
Must demonstrate creative experience through a portfolio.
Strong project management and time management skills. Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe, or similar.
Ability to prioritize with business leaders and delegate effectively. Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsive email, mobile/tablet design experience required.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Location and Benefits:
Position based on the West Coast, preferably in Las Vegas or Los Angeles.
Flexible in-office working hours.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000.
