RESPONSIBILITIES
The CDL Driver responsibilities include safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials and equipment, and adhere to all company policies, DOT and MSHA regulations
Requirements:
· Must have Class A CDL
· At least 3 years of experience handling heavy haul up to 80Tons gross weight
· Added job tasks:
o Ability to self-permit or willingness to learn
o Comply with Federal/State DOT regulations and records
o Load securement training
· Load and unload heavy equipment
· Perform daily safety and maintenance checks in accordance with DOT and Company standards
· Clean and maintain truck’s equipment and supplies
· Practice workplace safety
Skills:
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
· Ability to operate and inspect tractors and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations
· Ability to drive in a safe and responsible manner
· Have knowledge of or adept at learning the basic operation of a wide variety of equipment in order to load and transport them safely
· Analytical and problem solving skills
· Decision making skills
· Ability to communicate effectively in English
· Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
· Time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
The driver will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold. The driver must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
Candidate must be able to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted.
Environmental Conditions:
The driver must work outside in varying weather conditions to include extreme cold and/or extreme heat and dusty environments.
