Job Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining irrigation consistency throughout golf course grounds and facility. 

Duties:

• Ability to perform General Laborer duties
• Cleans equipment/machinery before and after each use
• Safely operates equipment such as back hoe and Bobcat
• Inspects equipment before and after each use
• Reports equipment problems to supervisor
• Makes necessary adjustments to irrigation equipment
• Identify correct dimensions of pipe
• Hand water turf and plants
• Repair PVC and metal water lines
• Dig up and prepare broken irrigation lines for repair
• Adjust sprinklers as needed
• Troubleshoot electrical irrigation system
• Troubleshoot mechanical hardware
• Identify irrigation issues in wet/dry areas (leaks, stoppages, and hardware malfunctions) 
• Ability to Solve and Weld PVC pipe
• Daily use of the irrigation system radio control
• Assists with special projects
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

Prior irrigation experience preferred
