Description

Job Purpose

The Program Manager will assist in the organization, planning, and implementation of our Med-Metrix Suite of Products and Services and work closely with an experienced team of Med-Metrix Subject Matter Experts with operational expertise in both Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan the Project:

  • Create detailed project plans which identify and sequences the activities needed to successfully implement a project.
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities.

Implement the Project:

  • Leads cross functional teams across the organization, effectively communicates with internal team members and customers in a clear and professional manner on the phone, via email, and in person.
  • Hosts discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to capture current state and makes recommendations on future state process improvements
  • Work effectively to set goals, identify problems, and make decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Manages multiple projects across different departments within the organization assuring that all team members have the required information and resources to complete tasks effectively.
  • Proactively communicate and manages expectations of both internal and external stakeholders by facilitating weekly calls, recording detailed meeting minutes, identifies next steps in the process, and diligently follows-up on all open activities until project completion.
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
  • Manages deliverables according to project timelines. Prepares and presents project status and escalates issues to executive sponsors and stakeholders
  • Candidate should be able to connect the dots into other initiatives or to past projects, think strategically, and build and develop co-workers/individuals

Escalate the Project:

  • Lead teams in high priority risk situations by coordinating and instilling a sense of urgency where applicable across multiple internal and client cross functional teams. 
  • Acts as point of escalation for critical implementation-related risks and facilitate their timely resolution. 
  • Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, and 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • PMP certification is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in Revenue Cycle required
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and outside of normal business hours on occasion when needed
  • Travel to client sites required
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
