Job purpose: The Product Manager ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.  Specifically, a Senior PM assists with the design of new products, helping to upgrade existing products, and assessing financial strategies to extract value from current products before beginning the design process for new ones. 


Job Summary: We are looking for a  Product Manager who will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Life Cycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, implementation, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.  Additionally, you will perform market research and coordinate with other product development departments on the goals and strategies for sales and production.


Responsibilities: 

  • Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment and deliver incremental product software with high quality. 
  • Mentor product managers
  • Ideate new products and product features
  • Assist DEV Senior Leadership with high-level management tasks such as cross-team dependencies, product development budgets, etc. 
  • Develop long-term product strategy 
  • Coordinate product needs between multiple teams
  • Work with key contributors to define product strategy and roadmap as well as goals and strategies for sales and production
  • Use Scrum framework to organize work and achieve results
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Work with other Product Managers to develop and ensure consistency, collaborate on product team dependencies, and utilize best practices across all products
  • Represent ClassLInk and the product well to internal and external stakeholders


Requirements


  • Minimum of 4 years experience managing a product lifecycle; other experience in EdTech or other Tech work preferred
  • Managed product from ideation to market
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in management role, educational or EdTech preferred
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute product strategies and strategic vision
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze markets and apply findings to development decisions
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing cross-team projects and goals. 
  • Vendor management experience 
  • Experience with market research tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of economics principles and workplace applications
  • Technical background, with experience in Jira, Scrum methods, and project management tools
  • Scrum Product Owner Certification preferred
  • Education Technology industry knowledge preferred
  • Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
  • Bachelor’s  degree in educational, business, economics, or computer science related field 

It would be great if you have or are pursuing the following:

  • Pendo, HEAP, other analytics tools

120,000.00- 130,000.00
