CGC is seeking a Self-Motivated Night and Weekend Mental Health Therapist


Do you have a passion for working with children? Do you love the idea of providing therapy services to children ages 0-17 and their families in an office setting that offers a team atmosphere of support and collaboration? Work for an agency with expertise in serving children and their families for 70 years while keeping the growth and development of their staff as important as the clients.


Job Summary: hourly base rate plus service-based pay (must be able to work 20 to 29 hrs per week)


General Duties and Responsibilities of Night and Weekend Mental Health Therapist:

  • Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently
  • Provides high quality therapeutic services to clients and their families within the family systems approach.
  • Meeting or exceeds team productivity, billing, and administrative standards
  • Develops and completes intake forms, psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans and progress notes within the required timeframe in the Electronic Health Record System
Requirements

  

Education and Experience Requirements of Night and Weekend Mental Health Therapist:

  • Conferred Master’s degree and completed internship from a FL license-eligible program that allows the practitioner to register as an intern in the social work, therapeutic mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy disciplines.
  • Moderate computer skills are also required, such as using Microsoft Office Suite and using an electronic health record.
  • Current FL driver’s license and good driving record plus reliable transportation with automobile liability insurance is also required. 

Preferred Education and Experience of Night and Weekend Mental Health Therapist:

  • Previous experience providing therapeutic services to families and developing treatment plans based on current DSM/ICD diagnoses.
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
