Country Village is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team for the nocturnal shift at our elderly care facility. As a NOC Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing overnight assistance and support to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to elderly residents during the nocturnal shift.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety and responding to any emergencies or needs promptly.
- Administer medications as prescribed and according to facility protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care activities and any observed changes in condition.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for residents and their families.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certification in First Aid is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic caregiving procedures and techniques.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient-oriented approach to caregiving.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Available 10pm-6:30am

Licensing Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to receive and maintain a California Background Clearance through the Department of Social Services.
- Each employee must have a physical examination and tuberculosis test performed by a physician. The tests are to be completed (with results) no more than six (6) months prior to, or within seven (7) days after hire (unless regulations stipulate completion before employment). If the exams are not completed within this time frame, the employee will be placed on suspension until they are completed.
