FireWatch Solutions provides security services tailored to the unique needs of each client to protect their impact on the world. As a member of the Housing Association Security Team, you will be directly responsible for protecting the safety of the client.

This is a Protective Service with a Security Team. The Essential Functions Include:

• Represent FireWatch Solutions core values of courtesy, professionalism, and respect.
• Prevent unauthorized access to the property.  
• Prevent loss of property, equipment, or other assets. 
• Deter vagrants from loitering and vandalizing the property. 
• Deter criminal activity. 
• Review and certify the timecard for payroll and publish the work schedule for the site.
• All other duties, as assigned.
• A clean professional appearance is required. FWS will provide all uniforms.

High School Diploma or GED with preferred law enforcement, military, and/or extensive security experience. Minimum age of 24 years old.

• Personal Equipment: You will need to provide your own computer, high-speed internet, and cellphone to effectively perform your job duties.
• Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Qualifications

• California Guard Registration Card (Guard Card) is mandatory.
• Law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is preferred.
• Concierge-level customer service experience.
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Software, Smartphone Apps.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Work in environments and under conditions that may require the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety.

Working Conditions With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively. In addition to other demands, the demands of the job include:

• Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Some lifting and moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Good vision and ability to adjust focus.

Starting at $21.50 per hour, depending on experience.
