Description

We are looking for a team-first, high-performing, and data-driven IT Coordinator to join our Information Technology Team. The IT Coordinator will ensure system and network reliability during operations of our amusement parks and food and beverage locations. Fieldwork will be paramount and the IT Coordinator will coordinate IT projects with internal resources to achieve project deadlines.

Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. In 2003, CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park. In 2010 developed, Luna Park in Coney Island, at the site of the birthplace of the amusement park industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, the worldwide leader in manufacturing amusement rides.


Position: IT Field Coordinator


Location: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224


Job Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for troubleshooting issues during operations, installation, and upgrades
  •  Responsible for network wiring – ethernet and optical cabling (Cat6, patch panels)
  •  Accountable for PC, Mac, and servers support (Hardware and Software)
  •  Assist IT Manager with Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
  •  Assist IT Manager in surveillance system installation and update
  •  Assist operations managers with IT hardware and software to ensure operational continuity
  •  Provide IT technical assistance and training to all users at Luna Park in Coney Island
  •  Responsible for IT asset management
  •  Participate in training programs
  •  Maintain professional knowledge up to date by participating in courses and educational opportunities
  •  Perform other duties expected of the IT Coordinator position and assist in all different critical needs of the Company as assigned
Requirements
  •  Teamwork, continuous improvement, and process-based culture
  •  Accuracy, integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude
  •  3-year work experience with Windows systems infrastructure, Linux infrastructure, database, email/collaboration, networking, security, and enterprise-class applications
  •  Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science
  •  Strong networking background (i.e., switches, routers, firewalls, wireless) and the ability to troubleshoot issues during installation and upgrades
  •  Advanced experience in power tools usage
  •  Driver’s license
  •  Advanced knowledge of PC, Mac, and servers (Hardware and Software)
  •  Advanced knowledge of active directory, DHCP, and DNS
  •  Administrator level of Microsoft 365
  •  A+, CCNA, MCSA are preferred but not required
  •  Electronics and electrical equipment test experience
  •  Enterprise monitoring applications (PRTG, NAGIOS) experience
  •  Surveillance system installation and upgrade experience
  •  Knowledge of POS systems a plus
  •  Hospitality experience is a plus
  •  Ability to lift 70 pounds
  •  Ability to work outdoor in amusement parks and food and beverage locations
  •  Ability to work at heights, up to 20 feet
  •  Strong oral and written communication skills
  •  Strong analytical and organization skills
  •  Meticulous attention to detail


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
