What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?

Dizzion is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to our strategic finance team and work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will help drive decision making. 


The Senior Accountant will partner with the Accounting Team to develop and implement strong internal controls to ensure consistency as well as standardized business processes. This person will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, maintaining the general ledger, performing month close procedures, assisting with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties as required.


Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with revenue and cash projections, assist with audit preparations and filing of Sales/Use tax monthly in multiple jurisdictions and carrying out other accounting duties as may be required. You will have compassion and empathy to help our customers with their billing questions and experience to get invoices paid in a timely manner while keeping our customer service quality bar high. 


This role will work cross-functionally across the operations teams. Communication, group dynamics, decision making, attention to detail are your passions. You have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and continuously improving organizations. You can keep short-term, tactical details of a project in focus, clearly visible to teams and stakeholders. Your work will have a wide and lasting impact in the company.

Requirements


What Other Skills Give Me an Advantage?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience with SAGE Intacct or similar ERP software 

• Strong attention to deadlines and keeping schedules on track

• Ability to function effectively and independently in a collaborative team

• Flexibility and willingness to pitch in where needed

The hiring manager for this role is Nita Rawtani. Nita leads Dizzion’s Accounting department and reports to Jared Hill, Director of Finance. Nita is a licensed CPA and MBA with over 15 years' experience in Accounting, Audit and Compliance, and Management Reporting.

Compensation

Salary $75,000 - $85,000 annually (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, and alignment of market data.)
