ESP Optimization Manager
Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To lead and further develop a team of Optimization engineers/specialists that optimize ESP systems remotely for both internal and external customers 24/7.


SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Responsible for daily management and long term leadership of the optimization group.
  • Interface with both internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the service.
  • Build and maintain a proactive optimization service for customers to further enhance customer value. 
  • Manage and continuously improve software solutions utilized by team members in their daily workflow, as well as customer-facing software solutions.
  • Perform investigations, trials, and improvements in ESP processes.
  • Create and maintain training documentation (standard work instructions, etc).
  • Train and mentor direct reports on all aspects of optimizing ESP systems.
  • Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of ESP processes in order to meet objectives.
  • Actively participate in daily management of area using analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance.


Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS in Engineering and 5+ years of technical experience of ESP system design and operation.
  • Hands-on experience programming, operating and troubleshooting VSD’s.
  • Working knowledge and experience using optimization software utilized in the industry.
  • Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.
  • Ability to travel for training, projects, and workshops.  

  

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work environment is typically considered in an office and warehouse, within a ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment may also include employee’s residence, customer site & meeting venues, extensive time off site while traveling or to other location as required.
