Brief Description:


A regional Account Manager with GreenPower Motor Company has the opportunity to contribute to a growing and fast pace department. This position will manage the dealer network team for the Western United States as defined in the Territory section below. This position will be responsible for meeting sales targets, developing relationships with dealers and customers, and evaluating school bus specifications in regards to GreenPower's School Buses. This postion will also be assigned special projects, as well as a variety of sales functions and tasks assigned by the Vice President of Sales - School Group. 


The ideal candidate has prior experince in the school bus industry and/or working in a fast-paced and highly confidential role in sales management. This results-driven individual must be reliable and demonstrate superior verbal and written communications skills. This position requires high creative thinking , conceptualization, implementation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment. 


  • Provide guidance and execute the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand dealer/customer base.
  • manage the school bus sales within the territory, provide guidance on goals and expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Provide insights on the needs of the business and participate in the development of sales strategies in support of corporate strategies.
  • Assist with the coordination of all GreenPower vehicles deliveries within territory.
  • Work cross functionally to deploy and enable adoption of processes, tools and training to ensure customer accounts are managed effectively.
  • Expand account base by successfully moving new opportunities through sales pipeline, partnering to move accounts to branded segment when account meets segment criteria. 
  • Leverage insights and analytics provided by Sales Operations to determine appropriate resource deployment, team and program effectiveness, and future strategy development.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure orders are built correctly and on-time.
  • Provide high-level support to an assigned executive.
  • Supports Marketing with trade shows and events including financial operations, distribution of promotional materials, and employee coordination.
  • Positively represents the company in community by leading and participating in tradeshows, conferences, and events.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements: 


 We are seeking an organized, diligent, individual who will contribute to the efficiency of our growing team. 

  • Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience as a sales manager or account manager
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate matrixed resources and drive measurable results
  • Ability to learn company specific system to track deadlines, submittals, and follow up
  • Computer skills using MS Office Suite, GSuite
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required

Physical Requirements:


Considerable physical activity with prolongs periods of sitting and computer work. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 15 lbs.


Working Environment:


Work is normally performed in an interior/office work environment with significant travel to visit stakeholders or attend shows. Other environments may include.

Compensation and Benefits:


Compensation for the position will be in the range of $100 to 150,000 salary per year. Qualified candidates will generally work a 40-hour work week, GreenPower offers benefits including health/dental/vision/prescription drug plan, flexible benefits plan, 401(K) retirement savings plan, life and disability benefits, paid holidays, paid vacation and tuition reimbursement.
