Account Manager

Description
  • Using knowledge of your accounts, and working with appropriate BizLink teams, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators for your accounts.
  • Take ownership of making BizLink successful with customers within your accounts.  You are the main contact from BizLink and the face of our company.  Develop a trusted advisor relationship with your key accounts and customer stakeholders. 
  • Act as the liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams (Program Management, Customer service, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.  
  • Actively engage in BizLink functional groups so they take ownership of their area of responsibility to your customers.
  • Help prepare the annual sales budget for your accounts. 
  • Meet the budgeted sales and margin numbers for your accounts.  Take corrective actions at the appropriate time to mitigate any possible missed targets.
  • Meet sales targets set for new business development for your accounts.
  • Collect and provide accurate sales forecast information.
  • Be the main contact for the receipt of all RFQs for new part numbers and the delivery of all quotes to your customer.
  • Work with internal teams on price setting with the goal to maintain a fair and reasonable profit.
  • Investigate and analyze root causes of quality issues and provide solutions to improve quality.
  • Handles any other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager. 
Requirements

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record of selling, and/or deploying technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in providing interconnect solutions to clients.  
  • Outstanding pre-and post-sales account management and follow-through skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.  
  • Ability to design and present technical solutions to meet customer requirements.  
  • Working knowledge of customer products and technologies supported by BizLink.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, cooperative attitude; team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.  
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and deal with tight deadlines and stress.  
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of your job.

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in business, engineering/science or equivalent required; electrical engineering is a plus.
  • 5+ years of HW/FW R&D experience in consumer and/or enterprise markets.
  • Technical sales support experience in interconnect design and system integration.
