We are seeking a tax attorney with 20+ years of experience, leadership skills, and a portable practice (not necessarily self-sustaining) to join the tax practice in the Boston and New Hampshire offices. The practice involves primarily providing advice on the tax consequences, risks and opportunities of ongoing and new business entity structures and activities and addressing tax controversy matters. Qualified candidates should have experience addressing individual, partnership, and corporate tax aspects of complex commercial transactions; structuring mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and debt and equity financing; employee compensation and benefits; and drafting related memoranda and documents—all in a variety of industries. Experience with affordable housing tax credit issues, sales and use tax, estate planning, and qualified plans would be a plus, but are not required. A J.D. from an accredited institution, strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to solve multidimensional problems creatively are also required. EOE
